Usage of HDPE Protective Ducting

HDPE Protective Ducting are used to protect optical fibers in telecommunication networks and power industry. They are made of a durable material that provides protection against mechanical damage, moisture and UV radiation. The fiber optic cable trays are flexible and easy to install, allowing for wide use in laying fiber optic cables along roads, in agricultural areas, in industrial zones and in urbanized areas.

Surface and colour of HDPE Protective Ducting

Made of high quality high density polyethylene (HDPE), which guarantees its excellent resistance to water and most common chemicals.

HDPE ducts have a smooth or grooved inner wall lubricated with silicone oil or a special permanent LF (Low Friction) coating. The outer wall of the pipe is smooth.

The colour of the pipe and the longitudinal strips can be produced in the required RAL shade according to the client's requirements.

Safety of HDPE Protective Ducting

HDPE ducts does not contain hazardous chemical substances or mixtures (Chemical Act No. 350/2011 Coll.). It is also free of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB (polybrominated biphenyls) and PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ethers) according to EU Directive 2002/95 - RoHS.
